When you create a 3NAMES account, we collect your name, university email address, and student ID. This is used solely to verify your enrollment and personalize your experience.

We also collect usage data such as which features you use, session duration, and interaction patterns. This helps us improve the app and is never sold to third parties.

If you enable location services, we use your location only for 3NAMES navigation and nearby event suggestions. Location data is processed on-device whenever possible.

To provide and maintain the 3NAMES app, including schedule management, notifications, and 3NAMES navigation.

To communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support messages. You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

To improve 3NAMES through aggregated, anonymized analytics. We never identify individual students in our analytics data.

To ensure the security and integrity of our platform, including detecting and preventing fraud or abuse.

3NAMES does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

We may share anonymized, aggregated data with university administrators to help them understand 3NAMES-wide trends. This data cannot be traced back to any individual.

We use trusted third-party services (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics) that process data on our behalf under strict contractual obligations.

All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256 encryption.

We conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to identify and address vulnerabilities.

Our infrastructure is hosted on SOC 2 Type II certified data centers with 24/7 physical and digital security monitoring.

You can access, download, or delete your personal data at any time from the Settings page in the app.

You have the right to correct any inaccurate personal information.

You can request a complete export of your data in a machine-readable format (JSON or CSV).

If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

3NAMES uses essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. These are strictly necessary for the app to function.

We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies.

Analytics data is collected using a privacy-focused tool that does not use cookies or track users across websites.

3NAMES is designed for university students who are 16 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

If we discover that a user under 16 has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app and via email.

The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was most recently revised.
